As an MIT supplier, you can receive payment by direct deposit to your bank account through Paymode-X. Electronic payment is convenient and paperless, and you can view past payments through the online Paymode-X portal.
Gather required information

To sign up for direct deposit, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Your company's legal name, main telephone number, and all physical and remittance addresses used by your company
  • Your company's U.S. federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Your company's bank account information, including ACH routing and account numbers
Submit Paymode-X application

To begin online enrollment, go to http://www.paymode.com/mit and click Join Now. You will be guided through setting up your online account. If you need assistance, call 1-866-252-7366 and tell the representative that you are an MIT supplier and would like to be set up for electronic payment through Paymode-X.

Once you have submitted your Paymode-X membership application, your account will go through an authentication process. To complete enrollment, you will need to upload a voided check.

Track payments

Once your application is fully approved, you will receive an email informing you that your Paymode-X membership is active. Log in to www.paymode-x.com to:

  • Set your preferences to receive email notifications of payments
  • View pending and past payments
  • View standard payment and remittance reports
  • Update company or bank information
